Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the ScanDex application and website provided by SandboxxGaming. By using ScanDex, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the app

ScanDex helps you catalogue, organise, scan where supported, and estimate the value of a personal trading-card collection. You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt ScanDex or its supporting services.

2. Current feature status

ScanDex is under active development. Pokémon, One Piece, Palworld, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering are fully complete games today, with camera scanning, collection tracking, binders, buy/sell, and Pro purchase all live. Disney Lorcana and Star Wars: Unlimited are available for browsing, manual collection tracking, binders, and pricing where available, while their scanners, buy/sell, and Pro purchases remain coming soon until validated against real physical cards.

3. Accounts and local data

Cloud backup is not active right now. Collection data is stored locally on your device unless you export a backup file yourself. You are responsible for keeping your device and exported backup files safe.

4. Purchases

ScanDex may offer paid features such as ScanDex Pro. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. Pro is available as a one-time purchase per completed game, or bundled across every game via an optional All-Access yearly subscription or a one-time All-Access lifetime purchase. All are subject to Google Play's billing, refund, and (for the subscription) cancellation terms.

5. Card identification and prices

Card identification, catalogue data, and market prices are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. ScanDex does not guarantee identification or valuation accuracy. Always verify values independently before buying, selling, insuring, or trading cards.

6. Buying and selling

Where buy/sell tools are available, any transaction you arrange with another person is solely between you and that person. SandboxxGaming is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any collector-to-collector transaction.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the collection data, photos, and backup files you create. You are responsible for any content you choose to export, share, list, or send to others.

8. Availability and changes

ScanDex features may change as the app develops. We aim to keep the app and supporting services working, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent availability of every feature.

9. Intellectual property

ScanDex is an independent collector tool. Trading card game names, card names, artwork, and related marks belong to their respective owners. ScanDex is not affiliated with or endorsed by those owners unless explicitly stated.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ScanDex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SandboxxGaming is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ScanDex after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
