Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScanDex application provided by SandboxxGaming. By downloading or using ScanDex, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the app

ScanDex is provided to help you catalogue and value a personal trading-card collection. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app or its supporting services.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your device and account secure.

3. Purchases

ScanDex offers paid features: ScanDex Pro (a one-time purchase) and ScanDex Cloud (a subscription). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's terms. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through your Google Play account.

4. Card prices and identification

Card identification and market prices are provided for convenience and are estimates only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. ScanDex does not guarantee the accuracy of any identification or valuation, and you should not rely on them for financial or trading decisions.

5. Buying and selling between users

ScanDex lets you share for-sale lists with other collectors. Any transaction you arrange with another person is solely between you and that person. SandboxxGaming is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any such transaction.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the collection data and photos you create. By using cloud backup, you grant us permission to store and transmit that data solely to provide the backup and restore features to you.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the app and cloud services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, and cloud services may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

ScanDex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SandboxxGaming is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
